Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shaft's
Bigelow/Cornay 40 Degree CV

We are enthused about the real potential of this product in the four wheel drive
market. When it comes to fruition, this will be the best solution available to
many drive shaft problems.
We have been pleased to work with the Bigelow Group building the some demo products
showing their new CV.
They have used a sample of our work in their ad literature. For those
of you who haven’t seen our display at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari or at one of
the UROC Rock Crawling events this year, here is a look at the Bigelow CV joint,
built with Cornay technology. Expected availability of the components is late
summer or early fall.
The Bigelow joint will be comparable to a 1410 series joint in both physical
size and strength.
Unlike a conventional Double Cardan joint, the Bigelow joint will flex to 40
degrees prior to binding and deliver a true constant velocity through it’s full
range of motion. This should enable a much smoother running drive shaft through
extreme angles and a longer life than would be attainable with currently
available components.
Initial production will allow for installation with a mating flange. We have
this flange currently available in 10, 26, 31and 32 splines. This will allow for
easy installation in almost any transfer case such as the Atlas, New Ventures
231, 242 (front only) New Process 203, 205, 209 Dana 18,20 and 300.
We also expect that the Bigelow joint will soon be available to attach directly
to factory original yokes.
