Coronavirus related changes

Important update about our business amid the coronavirus:

We are still open for business, we are still making and shipping orders. We appreciate your continued business during these uncertain times. Things seem like they are changing daily and will likely change more in the future but here's and update on where we are at now. Everyone is still working, we actually just hired 2 new people. We had a meeting and decided that we are going to split into morning and night shifts. This is an attempt to mitigate risks associated with the pandemic. The fewer people that need to be in the same building all at once the less likely we are to spread or catch the virus. In addition to that we are making sure to give each other plenty of personal space and to wash our hands and sanitize surfaces such as door knobs several times a day. As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

As a company, we have two main priorities. One is to keep our employees and their families safe and healthy. The other is to keep our employees employed and capable of paying their bills. This is a difficult thing to balance right now. We have instructed our employees to stay home if they are sick or if someone in their household is sick. Even if they do not have enough PTO accrued to cover their absence, we will make sure they continue to get a paycheck. If enough people get sick and we have to scale back on production and how many orders we accept, we will do so. We are prepared to endure that if we need to.

One thing that you as a customer needs to know is that our production schedule is going to be affected by this a bit. Normally we ship all orders the day after they are received. Splitting up shifts will likely affect efficiency and we will no longer be promising next day order fulfillment. For now we will plan on orders shipping within 2 days for being placed.

On a bit of a positive note, our office hours are effectively expanding, we will now be open for more hours of the day and will likely be able to take your phone calls after in the evening hours as well. So whatever time of day, call us. If no one answers, leave a message or email us, someone will get back to you promptly.

We'll keep y'all updated as things continue to change. Thank you all in advance for your patience. In the meantime, stay safe, take precautions, don't panic, and most importantly be good to one another.
