Measuring Your Early Bronco 1966-1977 Drive Shafts

Some early Bronco’s used Borg-warner type drive shafts. These parts are obsolete and will require you to change your Transfer Case output yoke and the Differential Pinion Yoke to run 1310 series u-joints.

Front & Rear

The early Bronco’s will typically use 1310 series Double Cardan (C.V.) drive shafts front and rear (as in Figure 1).

Measure for length
