Measuring Your Early Bronco 1966-1977 Drive Shafts

Some early Bronco’s used Borg-warner type drive shafts. These parts are obsolete and will require you to change your Transfer Case output yoke and the Differential Pinion Yoke to run 1310 series u-joints.

Front & Rear

The early Bronco’s will typically use 1310 series Double Cardan (C.V.) drive shafts front and rear (as in Figure 1).

Measure for length

 

We build 1310 series Double Cardan drive shafts with the Standard spline for $299.00 and the Premium Full Cut spline for $319.00.
