Dodge Ram 1500 Front Drive Shaft

Replace your worn out stock CV shaft with a double cardan. The stock CV joints fail quickly on lifted trucks. The double cardan design replaceable 1310 series u-joints for better wear and function through the increased angles found on lifted Dodge 1500 trucks.

Make sure your truck uses a flange at the axle like shown our photos on this page. Measure your flange bolt pattern and select the one that matches in the dropdown menu. Both flange patterns are actually slightly larger than what is listed, if you are measuring with calipers you may come up with slightly different numbers. We just rounded down to leave out 1/32 fractions which confuse most people.

Quality build

This thing is no joke. Amazing build quality and so easy to remove and install. Takes maybe 20 minutes. Rams OEM front shaft is garbage and costs the same as Tom Woods custom shaft. I now feel confident in my driveline.

After 4 driveshafts I found a shaft that will last and I don’t have to worry about breaking down

Been waiting for this product to be available again for some time. It was installed within 10 minutes of UPS leaving it on my porch. Finally, a shaft that will not destroy itself within a year, thanks to my lift. I helped a buddy build a CJ7 back in the 90s. We installed Wood's drive shafts front & rear. Now, 30 years later, I finally have a Woody!
