CJ Rear Drive Shaft, Double Cardan

1310 series rear drive shaft for Jeep CJ. Double cardan type, also known as a CV. This is what you need if your Jeep is lifted and you are experiencing vibrations or other problems due to increased angles. Shaft will require a CV compatible yoke for transfer case and may require axle shims. This shaft is built using 1310 series joints which is the standard size for a CJ, if you have a non-stock transfer case, axle, or something else that may affect yoke/joint size it is a good idea to double check the size of your joints. A 1310 series joint is approximately 3 1/4 wide from end of cap to end of cap.

Excellent rear double-cardan shaft

The short rear shaft measurement on my Willys project was potentially problematic. With the excellent geometry guidance both on the website and on the phone, it was an easy decision to go with a double-cardan shaft for the rear. They easily accommodated the flange at the back of the t-case, and even provided info on the degree shims needed for the rear axle. Packaging was robust, shipping was fast, and the fit was spot-on. No need to consider anyone else for driveshafts.

Did exactly what it said it would do! the shipping boxes were a bit beat up and some scuffs on the Driveshaft but all worked out. 1983 CJ7 4.5 Rubicon express lift.

Jeep drive lines

I bought a double cardan drive shaft for my 1955 CJ5, I received it very quickly and have only done a test fit so far but I am extremely happy with the speed that I got it and the look. I don't anticipate any problems as clearance and angle looks good.
