Working great so far. Install wasnt too bad and I didnt pull the transfer case. I honestly think it wouldn't have helped at all to pull it. Make sure you note forward gear face for reinstall. Also the 12 point bolt at the top is so long, the threads stick out had enough gunk on them to break that casing bolt hole. Didn't seem to be an issue for the reinstall but could have been worse. Recommend cleaning that bolt on the back side thouroughly. Only issue i had with the kit itself was the snap ring to hold the gears on was too thick and wouldn't go into the groove. I ended up using the old one. Hopefully that doesn't bite me later.

Not really sure if it would make a huge difference but I was wrong. Did not realize how bad the original stock shaft was bent but after swapping over and an another new rear drive shaft, night and day difference. Worth the money, not cheap but worth it.

To answer a problem with the instruction manual, the clip in the speedometer housing is not needed. It is captured between the splines inboard and the housing + yoke out board, therefore it is not mentioned! Hope this helps

This SYE kit works perfectly for my application, and seems to be of quality construction and materials. My only complaint would be that the instructions do not tell you to install the snap ring on the output shaft bearing in the new housing. Had to remove housing and install bearing snap ring after it was assembled. I had a set of older instructions that included this step, but the ones that came with my kit did not mention this. Other than that, it works exactly how it should.
