Double cardan type, also known as a CV. This is what you need if your Suzuki Samurai is lifted and you are experiencing vibrations or other problems due to increased angles. Samurai drive shaft lengths and flange patterns vary a bit and we want to make sure you get the right thing. That is why we require measurements before building the shaft. Measuring is simple and easy. You can read more about how to measure in the link below. If shaft length is shorter than 21 inches there is not enough room for X spline and you must select S spline.

These guys answered all of my newbie questions, super nice on the phone. Shaft is a work of art. No more vibration on 6 inches of lift with a 3 link. Plenty of compression and extension for over 38inches of flex.
