Calcium sulfonate grease is, in our opinion, the best drive shaft grease. Any grease is better than no grease but if you want the best grease to ensure the longest life out of your drive shaft, this grease is what we recommend. Like lithium grease, calcium sulfonate grease can withstand high temperatures, but where calcium sulfonate exceeds is in sheer and mechanical stability. Mechanical stability is the greases ability to maintain consistency when worked between two wearing surfaces. A typical drive shaft turns about 2,500 times every mile you drive, regardless of speed, over time this will wear out and break down grease. This grease will break down more slowly than most other types of grease. Formulated and mixed by a local lubricant company right here in Ogden, Utah.

Available in Grade 1 or Grade 2. Grade 2 is the best for rotating parts like joints and CV center balls, and is the best all around. Grade 1 is good for things like slip yokes, where a lighter grease will help to avoid excessive pressure build up when your drive shaft compresses.
