Samurai Drive Shaft, Double Cardan

Double cardan type, also known as a CV. This is what you need if your Suzuki Samurai is lifted and you are experiencing vibrations or other problems due to increased angles.  We also sell a stock style Suzuki drive shaft with a single joint at each end. If you aren't sure what type you need, give us a call. Suzuki Samurai drive shaft replacement is a good idea for almost any Sammy that is still running a stock drive shaft. Suzuki stock drive shafts used fairly small and low grade components. Add a lift, bigger tires, and decades of wear and tear and the result could be badly worn or even worse a broken stock drive shaft. Tom Wood's Suzuki drive shafts are built using only the highest quality components. Key features listed below.

  • Double Cardan design for smoother operation on lifted vehicles.
  • 2" diameter 0.120" wall USA made DOM tube.
  • Bigger and stronger than stock spline stub.
  • Forged slip yoke.
  • 1310 series joints. Your choice between Tom Wood's exclusive Gold Seal greaseable universal joints or non-greaseable joints.
  • Your choice of spline and slip yoke options, more about that here.
  • Best of all every shaft is custom built to whatever length you need. So you can be sure that you will get the right thing the first time around.

Samurai drive shaft lengths and flange patterns vary a bit and we want to make sure you get the right thing. That is why we require measurements before building the shaft. Measuring is simple and easy. You can read more about how to measure in the link below. If shaft length is shorter than 21 inches there is not enough room for X spline and you must select S spline.

Perfect

This thing is beefy. Noticed right away the excellent build quality compared to the OEM driveshaft and can eliminate the spacers on my SPOA. Double cardan is smooth as butter and helped with driveline angles. Only moments after ordering it was already being processed and shortly after shipped. Top shelf drive shaft, top shelf service

Best drive line ever

Ok i have built many cars, hot rods ,and 4x4's .As we own are own shop. Love samurai' s hate there drive lines . So samurai project agin drive line to short bad angles . So needed a drive line looked on line, and everyone said you guys were the best . Ok sure ill order one . what i got was not what i was expecting. I was expecting a drive line. When i opened the box and pulled out the baddest drive line I have ever seen... Giant u joints very nice double cardigan and as much slip yolk as ill ever need . Welds were perfect not one flaw anywhere. Hated to install it , it looked to nice . But i did. It fit perfectly and no more annoying vibrations. Money well spent . I will be buying all my drive lines here from now on . Do your self a favor if you got a lifted sami this is one stop shopping. Just do it you wont regret it . Best drive lines out there .
