Dodge Ram Front Drive Shaft
Compatibility:
This driveshaft is designed for all 3rd Generation (2002–2008) Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with:
- A flat flange at the transfer case
- A serrated (grooved) flange at the axle
Important Note:
If your differential does not have a serrated flange, this driveshaft will not be compatible with your vehicle. For 4th Generation trucks, please visit our 4th Generation Shaft Page.

Measuring for Your Driveshaft:
To determine the correct length, measure the distance from your transfer case flange to your pinion flange as shown in the photo below. Accurate measurements are essential for proper fit and performance.

This double cardan shaft can be built with your choice of greaseable or non-greaseable joints to suit your maintenance preferences.
