Jeep Grand Cherokee front drive shaft replacement is a good idea for almost any ZJ or WJ version Grand Cherokee that is still running a stock drive shaft. stock front drive shafts used fairly low grade components. Came in 2 bus days after ordering - drives super smooth - exactly what I needed for my wj with a 4.5" lift on 35s - I didn't realize how rough my old driveshaft drove until I installed the new Tom Woods driveshaft! Quality product and the slip is crazy long on this thing!!
After careful study and reading among many manufacture sites (also major part retailers'), I decided to go with a custom built shaft. The vast difference between stock and a T.W. are night and day. Because my shaft was actually failing faster than I could drive anymore I had to install it upon arrival. Buy the strap kit; you will not regret it. The newer bolts (7/16 vs 5/16) make fastening and to torque easier all around. Don't skimp out. The price is extremely comparable to an off-shelf unit. The grease fittings are also a leap forward.
