Measuring Your 2003-2006 TJ & LJ Rubicon CV Rear Driveshaft
Jeep Rubicon Rear Drive Shaft When lifting a Jeep Rubicon we suggest that you position the rear differential so the pinion points at the rear output of the transfer case and run a double cardan drive shaft in the rear. Generally, the stock front drive shaft will not need replacement or modification. This is because the front drive shaft is so much longer than the rear and the lift will not affect the length or angularity of the drive shaft as much. Measuring Your WK Jeep Grand Cherokee Front Driveshafts
WK Front Drive Shaft We build a double cardan drive shaft to replace the stock drive shaft. This drive shaft uses 1310 series Spicer non-greaseable universal joints. Though we list this shaft primarily for the WK, it also works with many other Grand Cherokee type Jeeps of the same era. Such as the Jeep Liberty KK and the Jeep Commander XK. Measuring Your Grand Cherokee 231 or 242 Rear Driveshafts
We can build a new stock type drive shaft for your Cherokee. We will need the length measurement taken from the vehicle with the drive shaft removed and the vehicle resting on the ground. We also need to verify U-joint size at the differential end. If you have substantial lift and want the smoothest drive shaft, we suggest one of the Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE) kits along with a double cardan (CV) drive shaft.
